M2 mindfulness training at GCU
New, 4-Week Mindfulness Series
The holidays can evoke a wide range of emotions, from gratitude and joy to loneliness and regret. Take a short break in your day to reflect on how you can be present and constructive with it all.
Starting November 20, we will offer a new 4-week mindfulness series. Each 25-minute class includes topical information and interactive discussion, guided practice and practical tips for how to build mindfulness into your life.
Sign up for an in-person class or log in to the online class via Zoom.
Research shows that "gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships."* Try mindfulness practice that will help you tune into feelings of gratitude.
The holidays can be an especially stressful time. Try guided mindfulness practice that can help you carve out time for quiet and self-care during the season
Resilience is the ability to cope with and recover from difficult situations. Try mindfulness practice that helps build your capacity to manage difficult emotions, so you can let go and bounce back more quickly.
Instead of (or maybe in addition to) establishing a New Year's resolution to do, explore how you can shift your mindset to focusing on how you want to be. Try intention setting mindfulness practice that an serve you the whole year through.
You can sign up and secure your spot for an in-person class from 11:30am- 11:55am at Building 71, 3rd floor North conference rooms 71-327 Tempe or an online class via Zoom, 12:05pm- 12:30pm.
