Now that I've got oil changing down, I'm moving onto the physics of tire pressure. In yet another moment of "I would never have thought of that," I got a great piece of unsolicited advice from the friendly folks at Firebird Tire. When I replaced all the tires (cha-ching!) before the buildout began, Tom advised me to come back when customization was complete, weigh the vehicle and recalibrate the tire pressure. Who knew? The results are in, and the RV lost 2000 pounds in the customization. Holy guacamole! And that meant big changes in target tire pressure. I could feel a significant difference in sway when I drive home afterward. Thanks for the advice, Tom!
