Spring Training is here! Baseball players have to be constantly self-aware, at alert attention and able to regulate emotions if they’re going to judge how the ball is coming and hit it out of the park. That’s why-- you guessed it-- many professional teams use mindfulness training. The Chicago Cubs launched their mental skills program in 2015. Program Director, Josh Lifrak, and Coordinator, Rey Fuentes, invited M2 to visit their training facility in Mesa to discuss the importance of designating quiet space to recharge and focus.
