It's 10am... Must Be Time for a Wellness Break

So excited to be included in the article, "Breathe in... and out" from Chamber Business News. Of course I'm thrilled about the profile on the benefits of mindfulness and M2 mentions, and I also love the broader perspective on the power of breaks. More and more companies are recognizing the positive impact of pausing during the workday, allowing employees to recharge and boost productivity.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce is leading the way, providing resources for local companies and modeling how to create a culture of well-being. Manager Nicole Pepper shares, “[In house] we have set a reminder on everyone’s calendars at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to take ten-minute wellness breaks,” Pepper said. “We’re seeing that when you allow employees to take that extra 20 minutes a day to release that stress, to feel empowered to take that break, they’re happier, they are more productive and of course that relates to everything they’re doing in their jobs as well.”

Here's hoping more companies follow their example!
